Simple Birthday Notifier for Chrome keeps birthdays top of mind — no account, no cloud, no tracking. It reads a lightweight text list, shows upcoming/today/recent birthdays with age and weekday, and reminds you at your preferred time. Highlights Import & Export with flexible formats YYYY-MM-DD; Name Name; DD.MM.YYYY tolerant separators (semicolon/newline/space) Inline edit & delete right in the list Multilingual EN/DE (switchable, default: EN) Notifications with age, weekday, date (DD.MM.) ranges: today, upcoming, recent Startup behavior: every startup or once per day on first launch Daily reminder via Chrome alarms Options log: view, auto-refresh, clear, download Robust & offline: fully local, no internet required Privacy No data leaves your browser. All birthdays and settings are stored locally. No tracking, no third-party scripts. Permissions (why we need them) storage – store birthdays & settings locally alarms – schedule the daily reminder notifications – show system notifications contextMenus – quick access from the context menu windows – open options/windows when needed Notes Chrome (MV3) suspends background scripts when idle — the extension wakes them as needed. Make sure Chrome notifications are allowed.
