Simple Automation Runner
Overview
Config-driven browser task runner
Simple Automation Runner is a Chrome extension that helps users automate repetitive actions on websites through user-configured scenarios. Users can create and manage multiple automation scenarios, then run them on the current tab, a new tab, or a new window. Each scenario can include common browser actions such as opening a URL, filling input fields, clicking page elements, selecting dropdown options, waiting for a specific amount of time, waiting for an element to appear, and sending configured keyboard input. The extension also provides a selector pick mode to help users choose CSS selectors directly from the current page, as well as a key recording mode to quickly capture keyboard actions for automation steps. Recent run history and success/error status are stored locally so users can review automation results. Simple Automation Runner is designed for user-controlled workflows such as testing internal login flows, filling repeated forms, or running simple web workflows. Its single purpose is to run browser automation scenarios created and managed by the user. The extension does not inject ads, does not track browsing behavior for marketing purposes, does not sell user data, and does not send user-created automation data to an external server. Scenario data, selectors, configured values, and recent run logs are stored locally using Chrome extension storage.
