SilverSight makes the web accessible for seniors and anyone who struggles with cluttered websites, small text, or low contrast. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ KEY FEATURES 📖 READER MODE Strips away ads, sidebars, and distractions. Reformats the page into a clean, easy-to-read layout with large serif text and comfortable spacing. 🔊 READ PAGE ALOUD Click once and SilverSight reads the page aloud with word-by-word highlighting so you can follow along. Adjust speed and pitch, or pick your preferred voice. ✂️ SIMPLIFY PAGE Hides popups, cookie banners, ads, and navigation clutter so only the content remains. 🖱️ RIGHT-CLICK TO READ SELECTION Highlight any text, right-click, and choose "Read selection aloud" to hear just that passage. ⌨️ KEYBOARD SHORTCUT Press Ctrl+Shift+S (or Command+Shift+S on Mac) to toggle Reader Mode on any page. ⏯️ FLOATING PLAYBACK CONTROLS Pause, resume, stop, and change speed without opening the extension again. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY FIRST SilverSight collects no data. No tracking. No analytics. No cloud services. No external servers. Everything runs locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in speech synthesis. Your preferences are saved only on your own device. Elderly users deserve a web that welcomes them, not one that excludes them. This tool is free. It collects nothing. It exists to help. Feedback welcome.
