This Chrome extension allows users to highlight selected text on a webpage using a colour of their choice. After selecting text on any standard webpage, users can open the extension popup, choose a highlight colour, and apply the highlight with a single click. The extension works only on the currently active tab and only when the user explicitly interacts with it. It does not run in the background, does not modify page content automatically, and does not affect pages unless text is manually selected by the user. The selected highlight colour can be changed at any time and is saved locally for convenience. The extension includes a simple option to undo the most recent highlight action on the current page. This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All actions are performed locally within the user’s browser. No external services, analytics, or remote scripts are used. The design of the popup uses a light humorous style to make the experience more enjoyable, while keeping the functionality simple and focused.
