Signal Tools
Overview
Turn a podcast (YouTube, audio file, or RSS link) into show notes, chapters and a transcript for the Signal Ghost theme.
Signal Tools turns long audio and video into publish-ready episode pages, right from your browser. Paste a YouTube link, a podcast (RSS or Apple Podcasts), or upload an audio file, and Signal Tools generates: • A clean, timestamped transcript (WEBVTT) • Chapters • Show notes — summary, key takeaways, highlights, and links Then send everything to your Ghost site as a draft with one click — title, feature image, audio player, tags, and the original publish date included — ready for you to review and publish. Built for the Signal Ghost theme, but the transcript, chapters, and notes fit any workflow. Features • YouTube, podcasts, and audio files in one place • Accurate transcription for long episodes (40+ minutes) • One-click "Send to Ghost" draft • Runs in a side panel and processes in the background — queue several at once • Import podcast guests as Ghost contributors • Bring your own keys — they're stored locally in your browser You'll need: your own AI API key (Google Gemini, plus AssemblyAI for best transcription) and a Ghost Admin API key to publish. Your keys are only ever sent to those services or your own Ghost site.
