HOW IT WORKS 1. Add to Chrome — free, one click. 2. Browse normally — Sigloo underlines acronyms it recognizes with a subtle dashed line. 3. Hover any acronym — its meaning appears instantly, with a field label (Finance, Tech, Medical…) so you get the right one. THE RIGHT MEANING FOR THE CONTEXT Sigloo reads the page's context to pick the meaning that fits the field you're reading — and when a term is genuinely ambiguous, you choose once and it remembers for that site. YOU'RE IN CONTROL • Pin the right meaning per site. • Hide a meaning you never want to see. • Flag a wrong one, or suggest the correct expansion — your suggestion shows as "under review" until it's approved. A DICTIONARY THAT GETS SMARTER When Sigloo meets an acronym it hasn't seen, it looks it up once and caches the answer in a shared dictionary. After that, everyone gets it instantly. It gets better with every user. PRIVACY IS A FEATURE, NOT A FOOTNOTE • Sent only for genuinely new acronyms: the acronym, a short (~160-character) snippet around it, and basic page info (domain, title, language). Once a meaning is known, nothing more is sent. • Never sent: full page text or HTML, passwords or form data, browsing history, or any personal information. • A sensitive-domain blocklist (email, banking, health, password managers) where Sigloo stays completely silent — and you can add your own. • Never sold, never used for ads.
