Keep a thought next to the moment that sparked it. SIDEWEAVE gives you a personal workspace while watching YouTube. Save a note with the video's timestamp, find it in your library, and return to the scene later. CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO KEEP Eight topics offer prompts for your own notes: languages, study, science and technology, history and humanities, film and video, music and art, cooking and home, and travel and nature. You choose the topic; SIDEWEAVE does not automatically analyze or classify videos. MAKE THE SPACE YOURS Each of the eight topics has three themed designs, for 24 in total. Topic-specific typography, frames, and original posters sit alongside open-access artworks, real observation and landscape photographs, and clearly identified AI decorative illustrations. Your chosen design remains when the poster area is collapsed; themes and layout can be adjusted independently. Change themes from the top bar, adjust the video size, or choose your own photo with fill, full-photo, and focal-position controls. Your photos stay on this device. A LAYOUT THAT SUITS YOU Choose Watch, Watch & write, or More room to work. Adjust the tool-panel width and show or hide the poster area and topic shortcuts. These choices work across all eight topics without changing your entries. FROM WATCHING TO YOUR OWN NOTES - Save observations, comparisons, and a next step at the current timestamp. - Add a unit conversion to science notes or a visit checklist to travel plans. - Reopen saved entries and jump back to their original video moments. - Switch the interface between Korean, English, and Spanish. - Export entries as JSON or Markdown and back up your library. - Open the separate mobile web app with a QR code and move saved entries you choose using a file. Nothing uploads or syncs automatically. - Save the visible video scene as a PNG image. Optional tools also support expression practice, reading exercises, scene observations, source comparisons, and cooking notes. FREE PUBLIC BETA Current features are free. Some advanced features introduced later may be paid. Access to existing records, basic note-taking, and export will remain free. Entries, photos, and settings are stored in this device’s current Chrome profile. We do not store a server copy or automatically sync entries between devices. Removing the extension or clearing browser storage can erase your entries. Before doing either, or changing devices or profiles, back up all entries to a file.
