Sideview keeps the AI chat you already use open in Chrome's side panel, so you can ask questions about what you are reading without switching browser tabs or losing your place. Keep several chats open, with the same AI or different providers. Move between them, rearrange them, and pick up where you left off when you reopen the panel. WORKS WITH THE CHAT YOU USE ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other supported AI chat sites are available straight after install. Choose your favourites, hide the ones you don't use, and put them in the order you want. The free version needs no Sideview account and does not contact Sideview's servers. It does not read the content of your browser pages or conversations. They are never sent to Sideview's servers. Chat exports are processed in your browser. PRIVACY Sideview has no analytics. Preferences and remembered chat addresses and titles stay in your browser. You can turn off remembering chat addresses and titles, or delete your saved data in settings. Pro saved prompts sync through your Chrome account. If you sign in for Pro, the extension contacts sideview.app to check your plan. Your chats continue to use each AI provider's own service and privacy policy.
