SideTerm
Overview
A real terminal beside your browser tabs.
SideTerm puts a powerful local terminal beside the webpages you use every day. Code with AI, run developer tools, manage files, connect over SSH, monitor processes, or keep a command running while you browse — all without leaving your browser. Features: Real macOS and Linux shell Multiple terminal tabs with custom names Vertical or horizontal terminal layouts Resizable browser side panel Persistent tabs, layouts, and sessions Existing shell and SSH configuration No access to webpage content or browsing history SideTerm requires the free SideTerm Bridge companion for local terminal access. The Bridge runs on your computer and communicates only with the SideTerm extension. Platform support: SideTerm is currently available for macOS and Linux. Windows support is not available yet.
