SidePanel Notepad is a lightweight note-taking application that can be used while browsing the internet, providing basic editing features for an efficient experience. ⭐Key Features • SEAMLESS SIDEPANEL INTEGRATION: Take notes instantly while scrolling any website. • NOTE DOWNLOADS: Download any note as a .txt file with a single click. • COLOUR-CODED THEMES: Assign one of four colours to personalise your note-taking experience. • KEY EDITING TOOLS: Classic Undo, Copy and Paste tools to keep your workflow simple and efficient. 2️⃣VERSION 2 (June 2026) • UNLIMITED NOTES: Your existing notes should automatically migrate to the new version. • EASY NOTE ADDITION AND DELETION: Right-click to delete notes quickly and efficiently. • IMPROVED UX: Lighter backgrounds for higher contrast and a visual overhaul for a more coherent, retro-inspired experience. ⏫VERSION 2.1 • MENU UPDATE: The Menu has been updated to use a grid layout, making it easier to search through a large number of notes. A status indicator has been included to show which note is currently being edited. • IMPROVED THEMING CONSISTENCY: Shadows added to tooltips and the menu instruction box. Updated font to Arial Black. • BUG FIXES: The application should now scale correctly for various display sizes. ⚠️Important Note on Storage: To enable unlimited note storage, notes can no longer be synced across devices and will be stored locally.
