SideNote
Overview
Private notes and todos for every site, domain, or exact page path.
SideNote gives your browser a private margin for notes and todos. Capture a thought or next step without leaving the page you are working on. Every item can be available everywhere, attached to the current domain, or linked to the exact origin and page path. The Relevant view automatically brings the right context together when you return. Highlights: • Notes and checkable todos in the browser’s native side panel • Global, domain, and exact page-path scopes • Local search and context filters • Local Google Keep import from an extracted Google Takeout folder • JSON backup export • Automatic light and dark appearance • No account, backend, analytics, ads, content scripts, or remote code Your notes, todos, settings, imported records, and the active-tab URL used for context stay in your local browser profile. SideNote does not read webpage content and does not transmit extension data to Meyer Media or third parties. SideNote is open source under the MIT License. Opera is intentionally unsupported.
