Overview

Manage your favorite web apps in a native browser side panel. Quick access, smart grouping, and seamless switching.

SideHub lets you build a personal side-panel workspace for the web apps and sites you use throughout the day. Add the current page or paste any HTTP/HTTPS URL, then keep those websites available in Chrome's native side panel while you move between ordinary tabs. SideHub stores your shortcuts locally and supports drag-and-drop grouping. When you add a website or click it in the rail, SideHub asks for access to that site so it can load in the side panel. For user-added sites, SideHub may remove iframe-blocking X-Frame-Options and Content-Security-Policy headers only inside the side panel, and may keep a side-panel-only copy of that site's sign-in cookies so the embedded page can stay signed in. Cookies the site saves inside the side panel stay in that same copy. Ordinary tabs are not modified. Key features: - Add websites from the current tab or by URL. - Keep selected websites in Chrome's native Side Panel. - Switch between sites without opening extra browser tabs. - Rename websites and organize them into draggable groups. - Open login or known external-only destinations in normal tabs when needed. - Store all SideHub configuration locally on the user's device. SideHub does not include analytics, advertising, browsing-history tracking, remote extension code, or collection of personal data. It does not request access to all websites at install time. What's new in 1.0.2: - Embedded sites that fail to load for a moment now retry quietly (showing "Reconnecting") before any error banner appears. - Pages that are actually showing, such as human-verification checks, are no longer treated as load failures, and status messages no longer flash briefly. - After the computer wakes from sleep, the side panel automatically reconnects pages stuck on a "refused to connect" screen. - Redirects after finishing a human-verification check no longer end on "refused to connect". - Cookie consent choices made in the side panel are now remembered, so consent banners stop reappearing. - The theme switch now lives only in the side rail, above the Settings button; Settings > Appearance keeps the language option.
