Sidecar Export for GitHub Issues & PRs
Overview
Export every issue or pull request in a GitHub list to CSV, Excel (XLSX), or JSON. All pages, all fields. Runs locally.
GitHub does not offer a built-in way to export issues. This extension adds an Export button to any issues or pull-requests list and downloads the whole list, not just the first page. What you get - Every item matching the list's current filters (labels, milestone, assignee, state, search text) - All pages, automatically, including lists with thousands of items - Columns: number, type, title, state, author, labels, assignees, milestone, comment count, created, updated, closed, merged, draft, URL, and optionally the description - CSV (opens cleanly in Excel and Google Sheets), Excel .xlsx, or JSON How it works - Uses only the official GitHub API from your browser. Nothing is sent to any other server. - Works without any setup on public repositories (GitHub allows 60 requests per hour without a token, about 6,000 items). - Add an optional fine-grained token (read-only Issues and Pull requests) for private repositories and 5,000 requests per hour. - No analytics, no accounts, no tracking. Good for sprint reviews, backlog grooming, audits, migrations, and reporting in spreadsheets.
