Sidecar Clipper — Copy Page as Markdown

Copy any page or selection as clean Markdown, ready to paste into Claude, ChatGPT, Obsidian or your notes.

Sidecar Clipper converts any webpage or selected text into clean Markdown and copies it straight to your clipboard — ready to paste into AI tools, notes, or docs. Two ways to use it: - Select text on any page, right-click, and choose "Copy as Markdown" - Click the toolbar icon to capture the whole article Links and formatting are preserved, and page clutter is stripped out. No account, no setup, and nothing you clip is ever transmitted anywhere — the conversion happens entirely in your browser. ON UNINSTALL If you remove the extension, Chrome opens a short feedback page. It receives the extension version, how many days it was installed, and whether you ever completed a clip — no identifier, no account, and nothing you ever clipped or visited. The form itself is optional and asks for no personal details. PERMISSIONS - activeTab: reads the page you're currently on, only when you click the extension - contextMenus: adds the right-click "Copy as Markdown" option - clipboardWrite: copies the result to your clipboard - scripting: runs the conversion on the page you clicked - storage: remembers how long you've had the extension installed, for the uninstall feedback above It does not request access to your browsing history, your identity, or any site you don't explicitly click it on.
