GETTING STARTED Open the meeting, video or lecture tab you want to translate. Open SidebySpeak, connect your account, choose two languages and press Start. Pause and resume as needed, or choose End session when finished. PRICING Free to install. An account and internet connection are required. Personal accounts receive 20 free minutes each month. PRIVACY Audio passes through SidebySpeak to Soniox for speech recognition and translation. Optional learning features send relevant text to OpenAI. Transcript emails pass through our email providers. SidebySpeak does not store audio recordings, transcript content, flashcard content or email content on its servers. Account, billing and technical usage records are retained separately. Saved transcripts and flashcards remain in your browser profile; they do not sync between profiles. Providers have their own processing and retention policies. IMPORTANT Translation is cloud-based, not on-device. Restricted pages may not support capture. Speaker names and meeting-mute integration depend on the platform.
