Siada: Human in browser use Siada brings AI assistance into the page you are reading. Work with a connected agent to understand information, organize your research, create useful outputs, and complete browser tasks. What you can do • Ask questions about the current webpage and add explanations or translations beside the relevant paragraphs. • Use recorded browsing context and actions to revisit research and understand your workflow. • Read PDFs, compare sources, and organize findings with their original links. • Turn financial reports into analyses or product research into presentations through configured integrations. • Complete browser tasks and review their action trace. • Chat with an ACP-compatible agent in Chrome's side panel. What's new in 1.7.37 • Discover the local proxy connection token automatically. • Configure API Key or Free Trial sign-in from Chrome, subject to provider availability. • Reconfigure your model provider and use the updated provider model catalogue. • Improved connection recovery, authentication retries, and task panels. Getting started This extension requires Siada CLI and a separately installed browser companion that runs the local proxy and connects to your AI agent. 1. Install Siada CLI 1.7.37: uv tool install --force --python python3.12 --with pip --default-index https://pypi.org/simple "siada-cli==1.7.37" uv tool update-shell 2. Open a new terminal if needed, then install the matching browser companion: siada-browser setup 3. Open the Siada side panel. For the default local connection, the extension discovers the connection token automatically. Choose API Key or Free Trial in the login wizard when prompted. Remote proxies require manual connection settings. If the local proxy is stopped, run: siada-browser start For later CLI upgrades, run "uv tool upgrade siada-cli" followed by "siada-browser setup". Chrome handles updates to the extension installed from the Chrome Web Store. Model credentials, availability, trial eligibility, and usage charges depend on your chosen provider. Feishu reporting, presentations, and sharing require separately configured integrations and permissions. Action recording can run in the background; closing the side panel or disconnecting chat does not necessarily stop collection. Disable the extension in Chrome to stop its background collection.
