Shuovo voice typing for any text field in Chrome
I built Shuovo after years of wrist pain from typing 6–7 hours a day at a computer. Dictation helped — but every tool still wanted a hotkey held or pressed, and with RSI, every keystroke counts. So I made dictation completely click-based: no hotkeys to hold, no shortcuts to remember. EARLY ACCESS — this extension is young and improving weekly. It's the tool I use for my own writing every day, and I read every piece of feedback personally. ZERO HOTKEYS, JUST CLICKS Click into any text box on any website and a small dictate button appears beside it. One click to talk, one click to stop. No key combinations, no shortcuts to hold — writing by voice with as few keystrokes as possible, whether you're managing RSI, improving ergonomics, or just going faster. TALK AS LONG AS YOU THINK No session limits. Ramble, pause to think, check something, continue, switch tabs freely while it keeps listening. Long recordings come back in seconds, and you get a clean draft, not a raw transcript. 中文 + ENGLISH, NO SWITCHING Speak both languages in the same sentence — no language toggle, no IME switching. If you type between Chinese and English all day, this alone changes how the browser feels. BUILT FOR TALKING TO AI Long, detailed prompts by voice — into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any web app. Describing a complex task out loud is faster than typing it, and the draft arrives clean and structured. WORKS WHERE YOU ACTUALLY TYPE Most desktop typing happens in the browser — email, docs, chats, all of it. You'll still reach for the keyboard occasionally (passwords, logins, the odd terminal command) — but for the typing that actually strains your wrists, your voice does the work. FAST, WITH NO HIDDEN USAGE BILLS Transcription runs on your own free Groq account (a one-time, 2-minute setup — we walk you through it). For typical personal use, the free tier is more than enough, so there's no usage bill on top of the subscription. Your recordings are processed for transcription only. PRICING One Shuovo subscription covers both the Chrome extension and the Android keyboard. Start with a 14-day trial at no charge. A payment card is required to begin the public trial, but you will not be charged during the 14-day trial.
