Shorten links and generate shareable QR codes from your browser.

Shrtn lets you shorten the current browser tab or any HTTP/HTTPS URL directly from Chrome. Create persistent public short links, copy or open them instantly, generate downloadable QR codes, and view redirect analytics without leaving the browser. Features: • Detect the active tab URL • Create persistent short links • Copy generated links to the clipboard • Open generated links in a new tab • Generate downloadable QR codes • View click counts • View creation and last-clicked timestamps • Refresh analytics from the extension • No user account required Shrtn uses a production Node.js and Express API backed by PostgreSQL. The extension communicates only with the official Shrtn API over HTTPS. Shrtn is open source. The source code, API documentation, and issue tracker are available through the project’s GitHub repository.
