Overview
Reveal or copy a filled password field on the current page. Free, local, and auto-hides after 15 seconds.
PlainPeek is a free Chrome password viewer that helps you check a password already entered in a web form. Click the extension to see password fields available on the current page. Choose Show to reveal a value in the page; it hides again after 15 seconds. Choose Copy to copy that field’s current value. Use it to check a password you just typed or autofilled, or to inspect a sign-in form while testing. No DevTools or account is required. Privacy: PlainPeek accesses the active tab only after you click the extension and requests no all-sites access. A password is read and written to your clipboard only when you click Copy. The extension does not log, store, or upload passwords. It has no analytics or background network requests. Browser pages, the Chrome Web Store, cross-origin embedded forms, and some custom controls are restricted by Chrome and may not be accessible.
