Overview

A focused swipe interface for browsing Instagram profiles and sending messages.

ShotTaker adds a Tinder-style swipe interface directly into Instagram. Browse profiles one at a time — swipe right to shoot your shot, swipe left to pass. How it works: Open instagram.com and click ShotTaker in the sidebar Set your preferences and write your go-to DM during a quick onboarding Swipe through profiles loaded from your followers, friends-of-friends, and suggested users When you swipe right, ShotTaker checks if they follow you — if yes, it sends your DM. If not, it follows them first and automatically DMs when they follow back. Features: Swipe cards with profile info, bio, stats, recent posts, and mutual followers Smart profile sourcing from multiple tiers (followers, friends-of-friends, suggested) Automatic follow-back detection with background polling Gender preference filtering based on pronouns Profile and enrichment caching to minimize API calls Works natively inside Instagram's UI — no separate app or tab needed
