ShortStash is a browser extension that lets you save, organize, and manage YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels in one clean library. Save shorts and reels with one click from YouTube or Instagram. Organize videos into custom categories that match your interests. Use search and filters to quickly find videos by title, keywords, platform, or category. View a statistics dashboard with total saved videos and platform breakdown. Export your complete library as JSON for backup or migration. The main library dashboard shows thumbnails, metadata, save dates, and quick actions, while the quick-save popup lets you save the current video directly from the toolbar. You can create and manage categories, filter by them, and track counts per category to keep your short‑form content organized. All data is stored locally using the Chrome Storage API and never sent to external servers.
