Removes YouTube Shorts: the sidebar entry, the shelves, the thumbnails, the channel tab, and the Shorts player itself.

Shorts Off removes YouTube Shorts from the pages you actually use: the sidebar entry, the search filter, the shelves on home and search, single Shorts mixed into feeds, and the tab on channel pages. Each one is a separate switch. When a Shorts link opens anyway, you choose what happens, it plays as a normal video, sends you home, or plays as usual. Everything here is auditable. The whole extension is about 300 lines of CSS and JavaScript, MIT licensed, and you can read every line before you install it: https://github.com/VinceGHER/shorts-off-youtube There is no build step, no minification and no bundled dependencies, so the code in the repository is the code that runs in your browser. Nothing is collected, nothing is sent anywhere, and it only runs on youtube.com.
