ShortKit – TikTok & Douyin Video Tools

Download TikTok & Douyin videos and photos. Playback controls, playlists, blurred backgrounds and optional translation.

ShortKit brings video downloads, photo saving and playback controls to TikTok and Douyin. Adjust how you watch, organize playlists and save supported media from one browser extension. VIDEO AND PHOTO DOWNLOADS - Download available video qualities and individual photos or complete photo albums. - Save audio, available TikTok subtitles and video-frame screenshots separately. - Enable Bulk Download to scan a supported profile and select posts to save. Choose a folder where supported or use browser downloads; export media links as a text file. - Track Douyin download progress. Eligible large videos can use parallel downloads when the source and browser support them, with normal-download fallback for recoverable transfer errors. PLAYBACK AND VIEWING - Adjust playback speed, seek with keyboard shortcuts, zoom and rotate videos. - Use optional blurred backgrounds on the TikTok feed, including supported photo posts and LIVE previews. Adjust blur and brightness from Custom Player Controls. - Keep supported media playing in the background, use floating-player options and pause competing playback. - Apply equalizer presets, volume normalization and optional rotating stereo audio. - Use Clean Video Mode and TikTok LIVE display controls to hide supported gifts, chat/viewer panels, host details and recommendations. PLAYLISTS AND CREATOR TOOLS - Build playlists, play them in a dedicated player and import/export your lists. - View available post information, creator statistics and tagged products. Play supported Shop-video sources when a playable source is available. - Analytics and Bulk Download are OFF by default. Enable their buttons, then open Analytics or request a bulk scan. Visiting a profile alone does not start these scans. - Review local watch history and viewing statistics, and set personal viewing limits. - Optional account cleanup supports unfollowing, removing likes/favorites and undoing reposts through the platform interface. - Optional Story/profile view-report blocking targets known endpoints; it does not guarantee anonymity in viewer lists. OPTIONAL DOUYIN TRANSLATION Built-in interface labels translate locally. Online translation is OFF until you separately consent. When enabled, visible public text such as captions and comments is sent to Google Translate. Recognized private messaging, editable fields and private/account areas are excluded. Profile/following/friends pages allow only recognized public post captions and comments inside an opened video overlay. Website changes can affect coverage. WHAT'S NEW IN 1.5.1 - Improved blur layout when returning to a tab and when opening or closing comments. - Separate Analytics/Bulk Download switches, grouped feature controls and subtitle-menu outside-click dismissal. - Windows-compatible filenames and shortcut/mouse-wheel handling. - Browser-download fallback, safer clipboard handling and fullscreen/Picture-in-Picture capability checks. - Reduced unnecessary requests; TikTok keeps its own fetch/XHR functions. Recognized verification challenges pause background advancing and profile scans. DATA AND AVAILABILITY Watch history, playlists and viewing statistics stay in local extension storage; preferences may sync through your browser. Media-link resolution can send the relevant post URL to Tikwm, TTGet, Douyin.wtf or Tiklydown. Shop preparation reuses page metadata; external media resolution starts on a playback request. A visibly blocked TikTok video may trigger a platform product lookup. Optional online translation sends public text and the target language to Google. These services/CDNs receive normal connection metadata, including IP addresses; platform requests may use your existing session. ShortKit has no developer-run advertising or analytics backend. Media quality and features depend on the source, site and browser. Automatic Picture-in-Picture, background playback and folder picking have browser restrictions. Use downloads only for content you own or are permitted to save. ShortKit is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok, Douyin or ByteDance. Support: dieptien290620@gmail.com.
