Hides YouTube Shorts and Instagram/Facebook Reels: nav, feeds, search, DMs — and redirects short-form links home.

ShortBlock removes short-form video from YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. It hides the entry points — the Shorts button in YouTube's sidebar, the Reels item in Instagram's and Facebook's navigation, the Reels tab on profiles and pages — and the content itself: Shorts shelves on the home feed, Reels mixed into feeds and Explore, Shorts in search results and watch-page recommendations. Short-form URLs redirect to the site's home page, so a link someone sends you doesn't open a feed of them. Reels shared into Instagram DMs and Messenger threads are replaced with a small "Reel hidden" marker, on the same side of the thread the message was on, so you can still tell a message arrived without the video playing. Everything is toggleable per site from the toolbar popup, and a URL mentioned in a comment, caption or post body is left alone — only recommendations and thumbnails are removed. No network requests, no analytics, no accounts. The only thing stored is your toggle settings.
