Record your clicks, scrolls, and navigation on Amazon websites to support research aimed at improving shopping experiences.
The ShoppingFlow is a research tool developed by researchers from Northeastern University HAI Lab to collect data for academic studies on online shopping behavior. This tool records your actions (e.g., clicks, scrolls, and navigation) along with relevant context, such as the page's HTML and screenshots, while you shop on Amazon website. Occasionally, it will display pop-up prompts asking about the reasoning behind your actions. To ensure privacy, we have implemented filtering rules to exclude sensitive pages, such as the checkout process, from being recorded. Additionally, A unique ID is needed to activate and use this plugin, you can either contact the team for an ID or create one by yourself. All data collected through this tool will be used exclusively for research purposes and will not be directly shared externally.
