ShopLens – Etsy eBay Amazon Walmart Research
Overview
On-device Etsy, eBay, Amazon & Walmart product research: prices, demand signals, keywords, listing quality, CSV. No account.
ShopLens — on-device product and keyword research for Etsy, eBay, Amazon, and Walmart sellers. Open any supported search or product page and ShopLens shows you what the visible results actually look like as a market: price spread, demand signals, keyword usage, and a rule-based listing quality scorecard. Everything is computed in your browser from the page you are already viewing — no account, no server, no data collection. ETSY • Search-page overlay: price min / median / max, median review count, paid-ad share, bestseller-badge share, and free-shipping share across the visible results. • Listing quality scorecard: rule-based checks against Etsy SEO best practices — title length and keyword placement, 13/13 tags, photo count, video, social proof, description depth. • Demand signal (Pro): review velocity estimated ONLY from the review dates visible on the listing page, labeled as an estimate. EBAY • Search-page overlay: price stats plus the demand data eBay itself prints — how many visible listings state a sold quantity, the median stated sold count, sponsored share (when detectable), and free-shipping share. • Sold-Items mode (Pro): filter your search to Sold Items and ShopLens reads the real sold dates visible on the page into a sold-velocity rate — page-stated data, visible sample only. • Item quality scorecard: title length (eBay max 80), keyword placement, photo count, item specifics, returns, seller feedback, page-stated sales traction. AMAZON • Search-page overlay: price stats, median review count and star rating, the share of results showing Amazon's own "bought in past month" badge and the median stated bought count, sponsored share (when detectable), and Prime-badged share. • Product quality scorecard: 10 rule-based checks — title length (Amazon max 200) and keyword placement, 5 bullet points, image count, A+ content, social proof, star rating, page-stated bought badge, and Best Sellers Rank presence. • Demand (Pro): the bought badge, the BSR printed in Product Details, and review velocity from the review dates visible on the page — all page-stated data, never modeled. WALMART • Search-page overlay: price stats, median review count and star rating, the share of results showing Walmart's own "bought since yesterday" badge and the median stated bought count, sponsored share (when detectable), and "Best seller"-badged share. • Product quality scorecard: 10 rule-based checks — title length (Walmart style range 50–100), keyword placement, "About this item" points, image count, description presence, social proof, star rating, page-stated bought badge, and the Best seller badge. • Demand (Pro): the bought badge, the Best seller badge, and review velocity from the review dates visible on the page — all page-stated data, never modeled. All four marketplaces --------------------- • Keyword analysis: the words and repeated phrases competitors actually use in their titles for your search, ranked by frequency (top 5 free, top 25 + phrases in Pro). • Competition estimate (Pro): a clearly-labeled 0–100 heuristic over the visible results so you can compare niches at a glance. • CSV export (Pro): download the visible results for your own spreadsheet analysis. • Research history (Pro): save analyses and come back to them. Pricing ------- Leading marketplace research tools charge $49–$129+ per month and require an account signup even for their free tiers. ShopLens Pro is $2.99/month or $29.90/year — and the free tier needs no account at all. Pro Pack subscribers get every Aegis extension at one price — see for the full catalog. Perfect for ----------- • Sellers validating a product idea before buying inventory • Resellers checking what a niche actually sells for (eBay Sold Items) • Amazon FBA/FBM sellers comparing niches by review moat, stated demand, and ad saturation • Walmart Marketplace sellers checking a niche's review moat and stated demand before listing • Shop owners auditing their own listings against best practices Honest scope ------------ ShopLens analyzes the listings VISIBLE on the page you opened — a sample, not all of Etsy, eBay, Amazon, or Walmart. It never shows revenue numbers or modeled sales estimates: eBay sold counts, Amazon "bought in past month" figures, and Walmart "bought since yesterday" figures appear only when the page itself states them, and every heuristic is labeled. Amazon and Walmart show their bought badges only on some items — when a badge is absent, ShopLens says so instead of inventing a number. It does not scrape in the background and makes no request to any marketplace beyond the pages you open yourself. Supported sites: Privacy and security -------------------- All analysis happens on-device using Chrome's strict MV3 manifest model with a hardened content_security_policy. Your searches and the pages you view are never transmitted anywhere. The only network request is an optional first-party Pro-license check to aegisfirma.com — it carries no marketplace data.
