Overview

Shopify theme detector and app detector in one: any store's theme, apps and trackers. Export to CSV, never records your browsing.

Stackpeek is a Shopify theme detector and Shopify app detector in one. Open any store, click once, and see its theme, its apps, its tracking pixels, its product catalogue and its current best sellers — in about a second, without leaving the tab. Free. No account, no sign-up, no email. 🧩 What you get - Theme — name, version, creator and price, including paid themes. As a Shopify theme checker it also tells you whether a store runs the original theme, a customized fork, a bespoke build, or a headless storefront with no readable theme at all. - Apps — every app Stackpeek can fingerprint, grouped by what it does: page builders, email, reviews, upsell, subscriptions, loyalty, shipping and more. - Trackers and tech stack — which advertising and analytics pixels the storefront loads, each named in the panel rather than counted as a total, alongside its CDN, payment, consent and search services. - Products — catalogue size, price range and variant count. - Best sellers — the store's real top products, in order. - Product CSV export — export products from a Shopify store to CSV in Shopify's own product-import format. - Findings export — copy what the scan found as Markdown, or save it as CSV or JSON. 🔎 Best sellers, not sales guesses Stackpeek doesn't model revenue or infer what is selling. It reads the merchant's own best-selling order and checks the store actually applied it, falling back to Shopify's Storefront API ranking where that check can't be trusted or the catalogue runs past the 10,000-product read limit. If neither route gives a verified order, no best sellers are shown. A guessed rank is worse than none. 📦 Export products to a Shopify-ready CSV Every public product and variant, up to 10,000 products, with titles, descriptions, prices, compare-at prices, SKUs, weights, options, tags and image URLs. Open it in a spreadsheet or run it straight into a Shopify import. Stock levels and barcodes stay empty rather than invented. The catalogue is assembled in your browser and never sent to Stackpeek. 🎯 Every call is checkable Weak app matches are marked "unverified" rather than quietly dropped. Unknown hosts and trackers are counted, so gaps stay visible. A site that isn't Shopify is reported as not Shopify. You see what Stackpeek knows, what it suspects, and what it can't tell. 🔓 Open source — read it before you install it The extension's source is published in full under the MIT licence, so what it reads and what it sends can be checked rather than taken on trust: https://github.com/tonic20/stackpeek-extension 🔒 Private by design Stackpeek doesn't collect your browsing history. It reads technical signals from the page you're on and sends them for matching; nothing is kept about pages that aren't Shopify stores, and for stores the record attaches to the store, not to you. Four permissions, and no others: activeTab to read the page after you click, scripting to run the detector, sidePanel to show results beside the store, storage for one anonymous install ID. Privacy policy: https://stackpeek.app/privacy Stackpeek is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Shopify Inc. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc. Every other product, theme and app name belongs to its owner.
