Shopify Detector & Spy helps merchants, product researchers and developers inspect competitor catalogs from the storefront they are viewing. Explore public assortments, review prices and variant options, and collect structured product data for your own analysis. Detect stores and explore collections Open the extension to identify public Shopify storefront signals. See separate product counts for the whole website, current collection and current product where available. Exact totals appear after counting finishes. Search discovered collections and choose Get data for the scope you want. Scrape public catalog data Capture exposed product and variant IDs, titles, descriptions, SKUs, tags, option names and values, prices, public availability, timestamps and image links. Preview the captured products and variants inside the popup. Export to JSON, CSV and Excel Download exact CSV directly, or download the catalog ZIP for observed-catalog.json, CSV, a text-typed Excel workbook, image links and a coverage manifest. JSON contains normalized observed products and variants. It is not a raw server-response archive. Observed IDs and prices are preserved; missing fields stay blank or unknown. Store currency is detected from public metadata when available. Prices are not converted. Partial and blocked results are labeled, and detecting a storefront does not guarantee access to its public product feed. Free includes 100 captured products per UTC calendar month in the browser profile. Pro Monthly is USD $19/month and Pro Yearly is USD $189/year, before applicable taxes or checkout currency conversion. Both paid plans remove the monthly product quota. Pro captures have no fixed product or variant cap per run and continue to the end of the supported public feed. Free captures use the remaining monthly allowance. Large captures depend on available browser memory and storage. Variants and repeated downloads do not consume extra product allowance. A new capture counts its products again. Catalog records remain on your device. Dodo Payments handles hosted purchases and license activation. No Shopify Admin account is required. Keep the popup open during capture; reopen it on the same storefront to restore saved completed pages and downloads. Spy means inspecting public catalog data. The extension does not provide sales or revenue estimates, actual inventory quantities, unpublished products, theme or app detection, image-file downloads, background monitoring, or guaranteed full-store coverage.
