Open a storefront, click ShopEyes, and review public signals in a Chrome side panel: detected Shopify apps, theme name, social profiles, product count, Shopify Plus status, store history, and saved research items. Marquee promo tile: See the Shopify stack behind any storefront. ## Permission Explanations sidePanel: Shows ShopEyes in Chrome's side panel so users can review store signals without leaving the storefront. activeTab: Reads the current storefront tab after the user opens the extension. scripting: Collects public storefront signals such as theme metadata, Shopify platform hints, social links, favicon, and visible page imagery. storage: Saves local history, starred stores, starred apps, and account preview state. tabs: Detects the current tab URL, opens external Shopify app/theme links, and updates the side panel when the active storefront changes. host permissions: Allows ShopEyes to inspect public storefront pages and call the ShopEyes detection service. ## Privacy Copy ShopEyes reads public storefront signals from the page the user chooses to analyze. When a detection runs, the storefront domain is sent to the ShopEyes detection service so the extension can return app, theme, social, and store profile signals. History, starred stores, and starred apps are stored locally in Chrome storage. Account and credit information is used to sync usage limits between the website and the Chrome extension.
