ShopBuddy - to help you shop conciously
We want to bring the phrase “voting with your dollar” to life by encouraging people to consume ethically and responsibly. ShopBuddy provides ethical ratings of brands sourced from 'Good on You' to online shoppers through the format of a browser extension. The information is delivered as a pop-up once you land on a brand's website. We use emojis for our 1-5 rating scale. There is a guide at the top to help you understand these ratings. There are ratings for the: • Overall brand • Environment • Labor conditions • Animal welfare **There is a search bar displayed on the extensions, but we are still in the process of developing it. ShopBuddy aims to help online shoppers be aware of what they are really buying and supporting -- to help them make sustainable shopping habits that are beneficial in the long run.
