Shomer Filter turns Chrome and Edge into a filtered browser. Once activated with your Shomer Filter subscription code, it: • forces SafeSearch on Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Yandex and Brave • turns on YouTube Restricted Mode and removes the Shorts feed and comments • refuses searches for explicit terms, on any search engine or site search box • blurs or hides images, with small icons and logos left readable • blocks pages whose content trips the filter • applies specific rules to mixed sites like YouTube and Reddit Everything is filtered on your own computer. Page content, search terms and images are never uploaded. See the privacy policy for the short list of what is sent and why. Shomer Filter does nothing until you activate it with a code from a Shomer Filter subscription. Installing it alone will not filter anything.
