Ship Lens
Overview
Chat with an AI to track vessels via live AIS and compute distances.
Ship Lens turns AIS vessel tracking into a conversation. Open the side panel, type a question in plain English, and let the AI do the work β no charts to pan, no filters to fiddle with. π’ Track any vessel by MMSI β "Where is MMSI 253041000?" returns its live position, speed, course, and navigation status. π Honest fix freshness β every position is tagged with how old it really is (live, recent, hours, stale, dark), so you know whether you're seeing a vessel in real time or its last-known spot. AIS coverage is intermittent by nature, and Ship Lens never hides that from you. π Instant distance math β ask the distance between two vessels or between a ship and any coordinates, and get an answer in seconds. π¬ Just ask β the assistant decides what to look up and explains the result in context, including why a position might be minutes, hours, or days old. Ship Lens lives in your Chrome side panel, so it's there alongside whatever you're working on β port schedules, logistics dashboards, news, or research. Free to use. On the horizon π We're building Ship Lens on a position engine with much more to offer, and these features are charting a course your way: β’ Search by ship name β no more hunting for MMSI numbers. β’ Voyage history & track replay β retrace where a vessel has been over the past weeks. β’ Satellite-backed positions β fill in the gaps when ships sail beyond shore-based coverage. β’ Richer vessel profiles β type, dimensions, flag, IMO, and more at a glance. Have a feature you'd like to see? Use the in-app feedback button β we're listening.
