Shift Lens
Overview
Local, read-only month calendar for the signed-in First Due shift board.
Shift Lens adds a local, read-only calendar view to the First Due Shift Board you are already signed in to. Browse schedules, filter by assignment or position, search personnel names, and inspect shift details. Explicit vacancies are marked Open; incomplete or ambiguous coverage is marked for review rather than presented as a verified opening. Light, Dark, and System appearance options are available. The calendar refreshes automatically and displays snapshot age. If a refresh fails, the previous snapshot remains visible with a stale indicator. Always verify live availability, eligibility, and approvals in First Due. Shift Lens does not bid, change assignments, extract credentials, persist schedule records, or send schedules to the developer or a separate service. It reads schedules using your existing First Due session. Appearance preferences and temporary navigation state are saved locally; personnel names and schedules remain in memory. Requires desktop Chrome 120 or newer, authorized access to your organization's First Due Shift Board, and permission to use third-party extensions. Chrome on Android and iOS does not support this desktop extension. Changes to First Due may require an extension update. Shift Lens is a third-party companion, not a replacement for First Due or your organization's scheduling rules. Listing screenshots and the public demo use invented personnel and schedules.
