Overview
Warns about phishing sites and unlimited token approvals before you sign. PRO: on-demand honeypot checks (GoPlus, Ethereum). Beta.
SHIELD CryptoGuard is a Web3 security extension (public beta). It checks the sites you visit and the token approvals your wallet is asked to sign, before you confirm anything. The Web3 threat landscape is unlike anything in traditional cybersecurity. Wallet drainers use gasless off-chain signatures to bypass conventional security tools entirely. SHIELD was designed specifically for this environment. 🛡 WHAT SHIELD PROTECTS YOU FROM ◆ PHISHING & FAKE PROTOCOL SITES Warns you about fake MetaMask, Uniswap, OpenSea and other crypto sites, using a built-in list of known phishing domains and look-alike checks against popular crypto sites. ◆ IDN HOMOGRAPH ATTACKS Attackers register domains using Unicode characters visually identical to Latin letters — uniswap.org spelled with a Cyrillic 'a' looks exactly like the real domain in your browser bar. SHIELD normalizes every domain string and runs similarity scoring to catch these invisible spoofs. ◆ HONEYPOT TOKEN DETECTION PRO: paste a token contract address in the SHIELD popup to check it with GoPlus Security (Ethereum). If GoPlus flags a honeypot or a very high sell tax, you get a CRITICAL alert. ◆ INFINITE APPROVAL INTERCEPTION The most common wallet drain vector in DeFi. When any contract requests unlimited spend authorization on your ERC-20 tokens, SHIELD shows a warning with the spender address before you sign and suggests setting a spending limit in your wallet. ◆ PERMIT2 & EIP-712 SIGNATURE PROTECTION Modern drainer attacks use gasless off-chain signatures specifically because they bypass tools that only monitor on-chain approve() calls. SHIELD flags EIP-712 Permit and Permit2 signatures that grant token spend rights, and shows the spender. ◆ NFT SETAPPROVALFORALL INTERCEPTOR setApprovalForAll grants a contract unrestricted access to your entire NFT collection in a single call. SHIELD flags setApprovalForAll requests that grant this access and shows the operator address before you confirm. 🔒 PRIVACY SHIELD never requests, reads, stores, or transmits your private keys or seed phrase. The extension reads URLs and contract addresses only to perform threat analysis. No advertising tracking, no behavioral profiling, no data sold to third parties. With PRO, the token contract address you check is sent to GoPlus Security. If you log in, your email is sent to our server to check your subscription.
