Shh takes the endless parts out of Instagram and leaves the parts you actually came for. Your messages, your stories, your profile, and posting all work exactly as they did. The home feed, Reels, and Explore are gone. Open a Reels link by accident and you land in your inbox instead. Every surface is a switch. Hide stories too, or the suggested accounts rail, or the search panel — or turn any of it back on. Nothing is all-or-nothing. Shh only changes how Instagram looks in your browser. It never touches your account, never automates anything, and sends nothing anywhere.
