Shelve sorts your open tabs into named Chrome tab groups in one click. You can also close a whole project and reopen it later, right where you stopped. It groups tabs by what you’re doing, not by which site they’re on. Next week, reopen it and the tabs come back as a group with the note attached. Shelving is off in incognito, so nothing from private windows gets saved. For unlimited use, add your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini key, or run a local model with Ollama. You can also set a spending cap: Shelve estimates what you’ve spent from token counts and stops when you reach the cap. PRIVACY • API keys stay in local extension storage and are never synced • Tab titles and URLs go only to the AI provider you picked. No analytics, no tracking. • With your own key, nothing passes through a Shelve server. The free tier goes through a small relay that keeps no logs, only anonymous usage counts. • Shelve reads page text only for tabs it can’t place and for projects you shelve, and only if you grant page access.
