)Overview
Move your reading library from Fable to Goodreads. Everything runs in your browser — your data stays with you.
ShelfBridge moves your reading library from Fable to Goodreads — a migration there's currently no native tool for, because Fable has no export feature and Goodreads shut down its public API in 2020. How it works: Click Connect to Fable. ShelfBridge uses your existing Fable login — no password required, you sign in on Fable's own site. ShelfBridge reads your Finished, Currently Reading, and Want to Read shelves, including titles, authors, ISBNs, start and finish dates, ratings, and cover images. Review and edit the list — fix dates, add ratings, remove anything you don't want to export. Download a Goodreads-format CSV and upload it at goodreads.com/review/import. Done. Your data stays with you. ShelfBridge has no backend, no analytics, no tracking. Everything happens in your browser. The only network calls are to Fable's own services (api.fable.co), as your authenticated user — exactly as Fable's web app does. Open-source under the MIT License.
