Overview

Convert Excel (.xlsx) to Google Sheets: SheetSure rewrites the formulas, saves the file to your Drive and checks every cell.

Convert Excel to Google Sheets, and know which formulas still differ. Excel formulas don't all mean the same thing in Google Sheets. When you import an .xlsx into Google Sheets, most formulas carry over, but some give different results without any warning. SheetSure converts the formulas that need it, then lets Google Sheets itself check every converted cell against the value Excel calculated. How it works: 1. Click the SheetSure icon on any page and drop an .xlsx file. 2. SheetSure converts its formulas for Google Sheets. 3. The converted workbook is saved in your Google Drive as a Google Sheet, with the spreadsheet's locale set from your file. 4. You see the result of the checks, for example "22 of 23 cells match Excel", and which cells differ. One click opens the Sheet; its SheetSure report tab lists every checked cell. Uploading an .xlsx to Drive as it is opens it in compatibility mode with the formulas untouched. SheetSure rewrites the formulas that need it and tells you which cells still differ, so you know before you rely on the spreadsheet. What it can see: only the files it creates in your Google Drive (Google's "drive.file" permission), not the rest of your Drive, and not your name or email address. It runs only when you click its icon; it doesn't read the pages you visit. Free, with daily limits: 10 workbooks per Google account a day, each up to 850,000 filled cells and 30 MB.
