)Overview
Translates webpage text from Latin alphabet to Shavian.
Practice your Shavian reading comprehension on your favorite sites, or even your inbox. One click translates all text on the page. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shavian_alphabet for the basics. This tool combines the pronunciation data from American-accented CMUdict and English-accented Britfone. Each of these dialects merges some sounds, so this tool gets finer details from the other. It can make notable distinctions such as: Mary-marry-merry (๐ฅ๐บ๐ฆ-๐ฅ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฆ-๐ฅ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฆ), cot-caught-court (๐๐ช๐-๐๐ท๐-๐๐น๐), and bother-father-farther (๐๐ช๐๐ผ-๐๐ญ๐๐ผ-๐๐ธ๐๐ผ). See https://shavian.info/spelling for more details.
