ShapeShift VPN gives your browser a Polish IP address through an authenticated, TLS-protected proxy. Connect in one click, use 10 GB of free traffic each month without registering, and manage your connection from a compact browser popup. WHAT YOU GET • Browser HTTP and HTTPS traffic routed through Poland. • 10 GB of free monthly traffic without an account. Guest allowance is shared by installations on the same public network; signing in uses your account's allowance. • Unlimited traffic while an eligible ShapeShift subscription is active. • A visible traffic counter, remaining allowance and renewal date. • Optional automatic recovery of an existing ShapeShift website sign-in in the same browser, even when the website tab is closed. • A language button with flags: English, Polish, German, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Czech, Slovak and Lithuanian. English is the default; your choice is saved. • An optional setting that lets selected Russian services connect directly. AUTOMATIC CONNECTION SELECTION New installations distribute their initial connection selection across the available proxy channels. If a proxy connection fails, the extension can switch to a fallback channel, including when overload causes a connection failure. This is initial distribution and error-based failover, not live measurement of server load. The 10 selectable connection profiles share two proxy channels; city names identify profiles and do not imply 10 separate physical servers or distinct exit locations. ACCOUNT ACCESS Use guest mode or sign in to a ShapeShift account. When signing in, the extension exchanges the credentials for a separate, revocable proxy key; it does not save your account password in extension storage. Your active subscription is checked with the service. SCOPE This extension routes supported browser traffic, not traffic from every application on your device. Bypassed websites connect directly.
