Shame The Web
Overview
Scores pages, roasts slow sites, and builds a private on-device knowledge graph you can search and chat with.
Shame The Web measures page performance in a friendly, easy-to-understand way. Delivering a short, playful “roast” with a quick summary of page speed and responsiveness. It also builds a local, "private knowledge graph" of pages you visit so you can search and reconnect with the content you saw earlier. How it works: While you browse, the extension collects small, local-only metrics and page metadata so it can generate the roast and index the page for search. Indexing and all history are stored locally. The dashboard shows an interactive graph connecting visited pages by topic and lets you search titles, descriptions, even content and snippets to quickly find pages you remember. Privacy and permissions The extension requires access to the pages you visit only to collect timing, titles, and textual snippets for indexing and to run the roast. Data is stored on your device and is not sold or shared. Why install: Get a quick, entertaining assessment of page speed and responsiveness. Keep an instant local history and searchable knowledge graph of pages you visit. Everything stays on your device. Website: www.shametheweb.com
