Before you rename, change or delete a Salesforce field, object or Apex class, SF Impact Analyzer shows you everything that uses it - in seconds, inside the org you are already logged into. HOW TO USE • Open a field in Setup > Object Manager and click "Where is this field used?" • Or select a name on any Salesforce page, right-click and choose "Where is ... used?" • Or click the toolbar icon and search for a field (Account.Region__c), an object or an Apex class WHAT YOU GET • Every reference: Apex classes and triggers (with method and line number), Flows (with the element name), Lightning Web Components, Aura, Visualforce, formula fields, page layouts, Lightning pages, reports, validation rules, profiles and permission sets • Indirect impact: components that call an affected Apex class • A change-risk rating (High / Medium / Low) with the reason • The Apex test classes to run, plus a ready-to-copy Salesforce CLI deploy command • How many records actually hold a value in the field • An interactive dependency graph • "Copy for Jira / PR" summary and CSV export • Unused fields scan: find custom fields that are safe to delete SMART MATCHING Finds references that a plain text search or the standard "Where is this used?" button misses: dynamic SOQL, relationship paths such as Account__r.Region__c, Flow formulas and $Record references. Each match is marked confirmed, likely or possible, so a same-named field on another object does not cause false alarms. PRIVATE AND READ-ONLY • Uses your existing Salesforce login - no setup, no connected app, no passwords • Only reads metadata through the official Salesforce REST and Tooling APIs; it never changes anything in your org • No servers and no analytics: everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere except your own Salesforce org • Downloaded code is cached on your computer, so repeat searches are fast REQUIREMENTS • Chrome or Edge 116 or later • A Salesforce user with the "API Enabled" permission (standard for developers and admins) Try it without an org: open the menu (...) in the side panel and choose "Switch to demo org".
