)Overview
For Salesforce admins: create fields, assign permission sets and manage public group membership in bulk, not one at a time.
Built for Salesforce admins: create 20 custom fields in one pass instead of clicking through Setup 20 times. SF Bulkifier does the same for permission set assignment and public group membership — the three jobs Salesforce only lets you do one at a time. No sign-up, no password, no server. It uses the Salesforce session already in your browser and runs entirely as you. WHAT IT DOES • BULK FIELD CREATION Build a grid of fields, review, create. 22 types, including Lookup, Master-Detail, Roll-Up Summary, Picklist and Geolocation. Grants field-level security and places fields on a page layout in the same run. • BULK PERMISSION SET ASSIGNMENT Pick users and permission sets. See how many assignments are new versus already in place before you commit. • BULK PUBLIC GROUP MEMBERSHIP Add many users to many groups at once. WHY IT WON'T BITE YOU • Every action has a review step — nothing is created until you confirm. • Re-running the same selection is safe: anything already assigned is reported as skipped, never as an error. • Rows are validated in the browser, so mistakes surface before the API call. • Permission set assignment asks for the user licence first, because Salesforce refuses cross-licence assignment — so everything offered can actually be assigned. • Results are reported per row and per user, with the reason for anything that failed. Formula fields are deliberately not included: writing a formula needs a proper expression editor, so create those in Salesforce Setup. HOW TO OPEN IT Right-click anywhere inside your Salesforce org and choose "Open SF Bulkifier". The menu item appears only on org pages — Lightning, Setup and Classic — and it reuses the same tab rather than opening duplicates. There is no toolbar button to hunt for. HOW IT SIGNS IN It acts entirely as you, with your own permissions. If your Salesforce user cannot do something, neither can the extension. Note: open the org on its My Domain address (*.my.salesforce.com) at least once — a Lightning-only session cannot be used for API calls. Opening Setup is enough. WHAT YOUR SALESFORCE USER NEEDS • Fields: "Customize Application" (or "Modify Metadata Through Metadata API Functions"), plus "Manage Profiles and Permission Sets" for field-level security • Permission sets: "Assign Permission Sets" • Public groups: "Manage Users" Each tab checks its own permission before it opens. If your user does not have it, the tab refuses straight away and names the permission to ask for, rather than letting you fill in a form that Salesforce would reject. A missing permission on one tab does not affect the others. PRIVACY No server, no account, no analytics, no tracking. Data goes only to your own Salesforce org.
