With Session Manager you'll be able to group and save your tabs into multiple sessions. This not only improves your productivity by reducing the clutter, but also serves as an automatic backup in case of a system crash, all while also saving some much needed resources for your other programs. Try to close a window with many tabs and using Chrome's History>Recently Closed to restore them, and there'll be no problems. Try to use this extension and when they're reloaded, all of them fill the memory at once causing the browser to freeze and the system to hang. Something isn't working the way it should.

Great for launching tab groups. I wish it preserved the "pin" state of a tab though.
