Overview
Inspect and reset service workers and Cache Storage for the current origin, especially on localhost.
Service Worker Manager is a compact developer utility from Livid for diagnosing stale service worker and Cache Storage issues on the current origin. It is designed for the practical local-development failure mode where multiple projects reuse the same origin, such as localhost:3000, and an old service worker or cache keeps affecting the next app. Built from the same debugging workflow we use in delivery work at Livid, the extension gives you a fast way to see what is still registered on the current origin and remove it without clearing unrelated browser storage. With one popup you can: - see the current origin - inspect registered service workers - inspect named Cache Storage entries - unregister service workers - clear Cache Storage - reset the origin in one action - optionally reload after reset if the page may still be controlled by stale state The extension is intentionally narrow in scope: - no analytics - no remote services - no broad host permissions - no clearing of cookies, Local Storage, or IndexedDB It focuses on one job: making stale origin state visible and removable before it burns more debugging time.
