Overview

Preview how a title & meta description may render in Google search results and catch likely truncation before you publish.

SERP Snippet Preview — Title & Meta Checker helps SEO and content writers catch a truncated title or meta description before publishing, instead of finding out after the page is already live and indexed. Paste in a title, a meta description, and (optionally) a URL for the display line, and the popup renders a preview styled to resemble a Google desktop search result — with live character counts, an estimated rendered pixel width for each field, and a clear OK / "may be truncated" flag as you type. PRIVATE BY DESIGN This is a paste-mode tool: it never reads the active tab or any page content, requests no host permissions, and injects no scripts. Your title, description, and URL never leave your browser. This extension collects no data of any kind — no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. The only network traffic it ever makes is a purchase-verification check with ExtensionPay if you choose to upgrade. ESTIMATES, NOT A GUARANTEE Google does not publish its snippet pixel limits or the exact font it renders in results, and real results vary by device, locale, and ongoing changes to Google's own layout. The truncation warnings here are estimates modeled on Google's typical rendering — not a pixel-accurate guarantee and not "exactly what Google shows." Use them as an early warning, not a certainty. FREE, AND GENUINELY USEFUL - Desktop SERP preview: title (blue link), display URL / breadcrumb (green), and meta description (gray), styled to resemble a Google desktop result. - Live truncation warnings and estimated pixel width for both the title and meta description, plus always-visible character counts. PREMIUM ($15 one-time) Built for SEO and content teams checking snippets at volume: - Mobile preview: a second modeled preview using separate mobile-oriented pixel thresholds and layout. - Saved drafts: save named title/description/URL drafts locally, and reload, list, or delete them any time. - Bulk CSV pass/fail: paste or enter multiple (title, description) rows and get a per-row PASS/FAIL check against the truncation thresholds, exportable as CSV (with the same formula-injection guard as our other extensions, so a stray leading =/+/-/@ value can never execute as a spreadsheet formula when the CSV is opened). No subscription, no account required — pay once, keep the features.
