Sequro is a zero-knowledge password manager. Your passwords are encrypted and decrypted only on your device: the server stores ciphertext and nothing else. Not even we can read your vault. WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES • Autofill — detects login forms and fills your saved credentials in one click. • Save new credentials — when you sign in to a site, Sequro offers to save it to the vault you choose. • Quick search — find any credential by name, username or site from the popup. • Password generator — create strong passwords without leaving the page. • Copy with auto-clear — usernames and passwords are wiped from the clipboard after 30 seconds. • Auto-lock — after a configurable period of inactivity the encryption key is forgotten. By default it lives only in memory, never on disk. HOW THE ENCRYPTION WORKS • AES-256-GCM for vault contents, with a unique random nonce per operation. • Argon2id derives your encryption key from your master password and your Secret Key. • Your master password, your Secret Key and your encryption key never leave your browser. • TLS 1.3 for all communication with the server. WHY WE ASK FOR ACCESS TO ALL SITES A password manager has to recognise login forms wherever you have an account, and no list of domains can be known in advance.
