Sequoia for Canvas connects your Canvas LMS account to the Sequoia study app — automatically, in the background, without needing an API token. WHY THIS EXISTS Many schools block students from generating Canvas API tokens. This extension works around that by using your existing Canvas session to sync your data directly — the same way Canvas itself does. WHAT IT SYNCS • All active courses and grade categories (with weights) • Every assignment with due dates and point values • Submission status — see what you've already turned in • Updates automatically every 45 minutes while Canvas is open HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension 2. Log into getsequoia.app 3. Visit canvas.instructure.com 4. Your assignments appear in Sequoia automatically No token generation. No IT approval. No setup beyond installing. PRIVACY The extension only reads data from canvas.instructure.com and getsequoia.app. It never reads passwords, payment info, or any other website. It never modifies anything in Canvas.
