Browser Extension to provide web protection feature from Seqrite Endpoint Protection Console.

Seqrite Web Protection Supported Browsers • Google Chrome • Microsoft Edge Features of Seqrite Web Protection • Captures URL in current tab and POST it to Seqrite Web Protection Engine • If Seqrite Web Protection Engine sends response as malicious/phishing then show HTML page with the details of blocked url with reason • If Seqrite Web Protection Engine sends response as ‘User Specified Blocked’ then show HTML page with the details of blocked url with reason • If any malicious download is in progress, extension blocks the same. It prevents downloading of infected files and removes them from the download queue. • Ensures users can only access verified safe websites as per security policies. • All configurations and policies are managed centrally through the SEQRITE Endpoint Protection console. How does it work? 1. The extension is automatically installed via SEQRITE Endpoint Protection using Chrome's ExtensionInstallForcelist policy when any of these features are enabled on the EPP console: a. Browsing Protection b. Phishing Protection c. Website Categorization 2. After installation, it will start capturing the URLs and take the appropriate action according to the policy. 3. The extension is configured automatically from SEQRITE Endpoint Protection and does not have any options inside the browser or on an Endpoint for the User to edit. This extension must be used with SEQRITE Endpoint Protection; cannot be used independently.
