SEO Readiness — Outreach & Indexation Auditor SEO Readiness helps SEOs, link builders, and site owners quickly review whether a site looks active, crawlable, discoverable, and safe enough for backlink outreach. The extension checks public signals from the site and from supported Google.com search result pages, then creates a directional 0-100 backlink-readiness estimate with a plain-English summary. 🔍 What it checks: Sitemap presence and freshness: Verifies if the sitemap is accessible and when it was last updated. RSS/Atom feed activity: Monitors blog/feed updates when available. Google discovery signals: Analyzes search indexed recency from supported site: search queries. Basic technical blockers: Checks homepage status, meta/robots noindex directives, and robots.txt blocking. Spam-risk signals: Evaluates risky TLDs, weak indexation patterns, and suspicious link behaviors. Outbound link treatment: Sample-page analyses of follow, nofollow, sponsored, and UGC attributes. Exact backlink verification: Immediate backlink checks when you input your target URL. 🎁 What you get: A directional 0-100 readiness estimate. Optional Google.com SERP badge annotation. 📊 What the score means: This score estimates crawlability, freshness, discovery recency, spam-risk, and sample-page link treatment. It is a fast pre-check before outreach—not a ranking guarantee, not a full SEO audit, and not a complete backlink-profile database analysis. ⚠️ Important limitations: Google SERP annotation is currently scoped to supported Google.com search result pages. Google evidence depends on visible search result pages and may be unavailable for some domains. Link treatment evaluation is based on the open page or sampled pages and may differ by exact placement. This extension does not measure third-party metrics (DA, DR), traffic, keyword ranking, or query a full backlink index. Additional export formats, live AI model analysis, full backlink-profile crawling, and ranking predictions are not included in this package. 🔒 Privacy: Site scans run entirely in the browser. Settings, scan history, and cached report data are stored locally in Chrome. Free-plan enforcement and Pro licensing use a locally generated browser/device identifier. The extension may send device/license verification data to the backend provider for plan enforcement, license activation, revocation, and transfer support. Chrome sign-in is not required for the free scan flow. Site HTML, sitemap contents, feed contents, and scan history are not sent to the backend. Click the Edit List icon in the header to modify domains, or Clear in the footer to reset. Structured Cards: Domains display in a clean two-line layout. Top line shows the domain name, an Open Link icon to open the site in a new tab, and a radial conic-gradient progress ring for the score. Bottom line displays aligned Niche, Google Index Recency, Spam, and Fit badges. Refresh Action: Click the refresh icon inside a row's Google Recency badge to trigger a live index check. Automatic Live SERP Checks: The first scan of a domain now automatically triggers a background Google search query for indexing recency in parallel, eliminating the need to manually click "Check Recency" multiple times. Google Bot Block Prevention: Removed the heavy &num=100 parameter from search URL queries (reducing search page payload size by ~85%). Added a safety 800ms queue delay between background queries during bulk scans to protect against Google rate limits and CAPTCHAs. License Token Fingerprinting (SEC-01): Activations are cryptographically bound to the local machine fingerprint (derived via SHA-256 of the platform, language, timezone, and device UUID), preventing users from copying Pro tokens to other machines. Old activations are seamlessly upgraded. Worker Ephemerality Recovery (SEC-02): Queued SERP checks and in-flight tasks are persisted to chrome.storage.session, ensuring that scans recover and resume automatically if Chrome terminates the service worker. 🚀 What's New in v1.6.9: AI Niche/Category Classification: Automatically detects and classifies scanned websites into niches (Health, Food, Beverage, Tech, Finance, Travel, Fashion, or General) using lightweight in-browser NLP. Displayed in single-scans (purple AI badge), bulk scans, reports, and bulk CSV exports. Persistent Google Pages Cache: Scan details from Google Search results are now saved and persistently merged with your homepage scans, solving the issue where checking a target site directly reset Google Pages data back to "Check". High-Precision Relative Indexing Dates: Sub-day relative dates (e.g. "13 hours ago", "5 mins ago") are now fully supported, displaying as "13h ago", "12h ago", etc., in popup cards, tooltips, and reports instead of rounding down to "0d". Multi-Article Link Scanner (v1.6.8): Upgraded backlink checks to parse and aggregate follow/nofollow ratios from up to 3 candidate URLs concurrently. Drawers & Viewport Cut-off Fix: Added dynamic popup resizing (body:has()) preventing outreach copy buttons from getting cut off on lower-height screens. Brand Style Alignment: Upgraded feedback elements to use emerald green styling and repaired the WhatsApp footer outlines.
